Miraloma Cooperative Nursery School Fundraiser
Welcome to our project homepage!
Thank you so much for participating in our fundraising event!
Here you can find all the information you will need to complete this collaborative project. I will be updating this page as we move along, and include any important dates as well.
If you’d like to see examples from last year, please click here.

The Toddler Art Pieces
All toddler art is drawn on 11 inch by 13 inch tea paper. As a participating artist, you can choose 3 images to work with, but we want to make sure each child is represented, so once an artwork has been chosen, it won’t be available to other participating artists.
Toddler Art Gallery
THE ARTIST’S PART
The minimum size of the completed piece should be 11 x 14 inches. If you have a surface you’d like to use already, please feel free to do so.
I can also provide a surface for you! Just let me know your preference.
There is a form at the bottom of this page to input your preferences.

Canvas or Panel
When the artwork on tea paper is applied onto canvas or panel with acrylic gloss medium, the paper itself will become transparent and the drawings will remain, as you can see in this example by Ryan Martin with Jackson Fahy.
(I can provide you with gloss medium!)
Ryan is then able to paint with acrylic on top of the toddler work once it has dried.
Since each layer’s tea paper becomes transparent, you can overlay multiple toddler pieces together and paint under, or over each layer.
In this example, there are three toddler artworks overlayed on one 11 x 14 canvas. The small squiggles on the upper right are one artist, the flame face in the center is another, and the larger green squiggle is a by a third toddler artist.
IMPORTANT UPDATE (NEW TO 2026): Please layer all your selected toddler art onto the same artwork. In previous years, artists had the option to create individual pieces per toddler, but often this resulted in only the parent of the toddler bidding on the artwork. We want to encourage a healthy level of competition for winning the artwork at auction as this is a fundraiser. Thank you for understanding!

Watercolor on Paper
If you’d like to complete your work on paper, I will send you your selections as downloadable digital images.
If you are composing multiple toddler images onto one piece of paper, please arrange them in Photoshop the way you’d like to (try to keep the scale as close to life as possible).
After you compose your piece, email it to me and I will print the composition onto high quality watercolor paper.
I will then mail it back to you for you to complete your part of the art piece.
*Alternatively, if you’d like for me to compose your selected images for you and then send you printed artwork on watercolor paper, I can do that too.
