Photography has captured me since I first held my mom's Nikon FM in junior high.

I shoot only with a manual focus, fixed focal-length lens in natural light which limits me to a slow and methodical style of shooting. I am forced to move around my subject to find the right crop and just the right light. I am fascinated with this explorative and immersive process which keeps me fully aware of my presence in my surrounding space. In turn, my subjects are influenced by my presence as well.

Though my tools are greatly edited, my subject matter knows no bounds.

Photography is number one, but my first love of art began with drawing and painting.
Inspiration for my artwork is mainly rooted in nostalgia.
